OUR BOAT

South Star is our “Proof of Concept” that living the life of a sea gypsy is for us.   She is a 1973 Center Cockpit Morgan Out Island 36’.  Being newbies to the live aboard sailing life we chose something a little smaller than our original plan called for.  The most obvious shortcoming is a small pass through space between the salon and aft cabin instead of a full sized walk through passage. Though I have some reservations, since she was purchased at a great price and she is our “Proof of Concept” I am willing to live with her shortcomings, at least for a little while.
