Clambake was feeling a little blue.
At any rate, it's a good thing I did, as the old impeller had started to fail.
The pictures below tell some of the tale. It's getting a little tough at my age (no comments from the peanut gallery) to get convoluted into the positions required to repair a sailboat, but I managed. I'm sure I will pay for it tomorrow, but for today, the starter is starting, the alternator is charging, the pump is pumping, the fridge is chilling, and Sea Bird sits happily murmuring to herself as all of the above takes place.
If things hold together, we will be departing sometime in the next few days for an extended visit to somewhere. It's been too long since the sails were up and pulling us to new adventures.

Today, my boat is telling me that all is well.
